Celebrating our attendance success! 

We’re proud to share some fantastic news about our attendance achievements this academic year! 

By comparing our attendance data with similar schools from the start of the 2024 - 2025 academic year up to Tuesday 8 April 2025, we have identified several areas where we are performing exceptionally well:

• Year 10 attendance reached an impressive 93.4%, outperforming 20 out of 20 similar schools. Not only did we maintain excellent attendance rates, but we also had fewer persistently absent pupils than any comparable school - a testament to the dedication of both our students and staff in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Students eligible for free school meals recorded a strong 91.7% attendance, exceeding 18 out of 20 similar schools. This achievement highlights our commitment to ensuring every student feels supported and empowered to attend school regularly, no matter their circumstances.
• Pupils with special educational needs achieved 90.1% attendance, surpassing 18 out of 20 similar schools. This reflects the hard work of our educators, who provide tailored support to ensure all students thrive in their learning journey.

Behind these numbers are the efforts of our students, teachers, and families, all working together to build a culture of consistency, motivation, and success.
