In Year Admissions 2026-2027
Every year we are delighted to meet families who are considering a new school - whether they are joining the area or simply looking for a setting that feels like the right fit for their child.
We understand that this can be a big step, so we have made the process as easy as possible.
Parents and guardians wishing to apply for an in-year admission should complete our In-year Application form - please click the link below. This application form is available in different languages, Arabic, English, French, Punjabi and Romanian.
The Process
Once we receive your application form, we will contact you within 10 working days to arrange a Pre-admissions interview, subject to available places. If there are no vacant positions available, your child will be placed on the waiting list in accordance with the oversubscription criteria found in the admissions policy.
We will invite your child for an assessment test. This test is used solely for the purpose of assessing their current level of ability.
Fair Access Panel
The process regarding children admitted via Fair Access Panel will be in line with Greenwich Local Authority’s published arrangements.
Year 6
For students who are currently in year 6 who wish to apply to Woolwich Polytechnic School for the following September, they can find guidance on how to apply here
Year 11
Students who are currently in year 11 who wish to apply for a place at Woolwich Polytechnic School Sixth Form will need to complete the application form on their page here
enrolment confirmation
If you require a Letter of Enrolment Confirmation, please state the reason for your request in your email. Please note that processing may take up to 15 working days.
If your request is urgent, please indicate this in your email and provide the specific timeframe required. While we will make every effort to accommodate urgent requests where possible, this cannot be guaranteed.
Once the letter has been completed, it will be uploaded to MCAS. If you require a physical copy, please state this in your email. You will be notified when it is available for collection from Reception.
