Consultation Information

Overview

PolyMAT will be its own admission authority for the academic year 2021/22. Applicants will still apply using the common application form.

PolyMAT would like your views on proposed changes to admission arrangements for their schools for entry to Year 7 in September 2021.

The consultation on these proposals will run from Tuesday 17 December 2019 to Wednesday 30 January 2020.

All responses must be via email or letter.

A copy of the proposed admission arrangements are set out in the 'Related documents' below.

Why We Are Consulting

We have a statutory duty to consult on admission arrangements if we intend to make a change.

The change being proposed is as follows:

  1. Children of Staff – adding priority for children of staff at all PolyMAT schools

What Happens Next

After the closing date, responses will be presented to the Trustees. The Board will decide whether or not to proceed with the proposed change. The decision will then need to be ratified by the governors during February 2020. Once determined the final admission arrangements will be placed on the Trust and individual school websites.
