Course Overview

Over the course of two years students study a wide range of texts from the 16th century drama (Shakespeare) to Victorian novels and poetry through to 20th/21st century drama, poetry and fiction.

Assessment

  • Two Homework essays per week
  • Reading and wider reading
  • Weekly timed writing in class

At AS 2 Exams: Poetry/Drama and Prose
At A2 3 Exams: Drama, Prose and Poetry plus coursework
