Information for Families: Upcoming Vaccination Sessions for Year 9 Students
The Immunisation Team has confirmed two upcoming vaccination sessions for Year 9 students:
- First session: 10 February 2026
- Second session: 5 March 2026
Families will receive a letter containing full details about the DTP (Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio) and Meningitis ACWY vaccinations, which form part of the routine childhood immunisation schedule. The letter also includes information about the MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella) vaccine for any young people who may have missed a previous dose.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to complete the online consent form as soon as possible. Consent can be given or declined using the link provided in the letter. The Immunisation Team is available to support families who need help completing the form, who have changed their minds, or who have questions about the vaccinations. Families of students in Year 10 and Year 11 who may have missed vaccinations in earlier years are also welcome to contact the team directly for support.
If any families require materials in alternative formats - such as translated documents or braille - they are encouraged to contact the Immunisation Team, who are happy to provide additional support to ensure no young person misses out on these important vaccinations.
