Design a Hat Competition - The Winners!
Two weeks ago, we launched our ‘Design a Hat’ competition raising awareness for Wear a Hat Day. We have been inundated with entries and Mrs Hawgood had such a tough time deciding on the winners.
The 1st prize was awarded to Benjamin in Year 7 who created an amazing blue, yellow and white graphic design with felt tip pens and fine liners. So much detail and care went into this design, it looks like it has been printed and not drawn by hand!
The 2nd prize was awarded to Dyuvan in Year 7 who actually submitted a number of fantastic entries. This design was noticed straight away as it displays all of the elements of our school badge. The attention to detail and the use of typography – brilliant.
Well done to Benjamin and Dyuvan we hope you enjoy your chocolate treats and prizes!
We also had several other designs that Mrs Hawgood felt deserved prizes. Thank you and well done to everyone who took the time to submit an entry.
It was so lovely being able to view all these hat entry designs as they were handed in, we are so lucky to have such creative and talented students within our school.
Our Designated Specialist Provision students also took part in the competition, and we were able to award everyone a prize for submitting an entry. Mrs Hawgood had another tough decision to make choosing a winner. 1st place prize was awarded to Braydon in Year 7. His design was so neat, and he really thought about the use of colour this creation must have taken ages to complete. A huge well done to you Braydon, and we hope you enjoy your chocolate treat!
