What we're consulting on
We are proposing changes to oversubscription criteria for Year 7 entry from 2027, as well as changes to appeals arrangements for our Sixth Form.

Why
The Year 7 changes will give a higher priority to those pupils transferring from PolyMAT primary schools, such as Bannockburn Primary School. The Sixth Form changes clarify that appeals should only be made where the school can not offer a place in the sixth form, and that there is no statutory right to appeal for a refusal to offer a particular subject or combination of subjects.

Parents of children aged 2–18; local schools and neighbouring admission authorities; Royal Borough of Greenwich.

What happens next
After the consultation closes, we will consider all feedback and determine our final policy by 28 February 2026, before publishing it by 15 March 2026. We will also record and respond to key issues raised.
