Royal Academy Art TripThu 03 Oct 2019
17 Year 9 Art students went to the Royal academy to take part in an Antony Gormley workshop and have a tour around the gallery. Not only were students incredibly well behaved (with members of staff remarking on how wonderful they were) but they also enjoyed creating figurative casts from clay and plaster. They spent some time going around Antony Gormley's exhibition and were able to engage in some very complex ideas!
The RA staff were impressed, I was impressed, and they should be really proud of themselves!
