PTA stands for Parent Teacher Association, a school-based organisation with a mission to make the school a better place for children to learn. Parents of students work together with teachers to raise money for school supplies, and generally support the school's efforts. PTA members are parent volunteers.

At Woolwich Polytechnic School for Boys, we believe a PTA is a great way to bring together parents, teachers and your local community to raise funds and to support your school.

We want to have a successful PTA, which provides parents and teachers with the opportunity to exchange views, work together and to develop mutual trust and confidence.

Want to get involved? please contact for information on how to join the school PTA.
