At the end of the summer term, our student council began working hard on their “Choose to Reuse” campaign. The students made a presentation to all staff about the importance of recycling and how plastic is ruining our planet.

Since then, the student council have been encouraging staff to being using reusable drinking vessels, a large plastic recycling plastic bin and have been presenting assembly’s to the lower year students about the importance of recycling. The students are also working on more recycling bins around the school, especially in classrooms.

Our student have also been talking to our school’s catering team about the school menu in the hope to be able to reduce the amount of mess and waste that is left behind.
