Year 10 students took part in the Jack Petchey “Speak Out Challenge " on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th February. It was a chance for students to work on speech writing and delivery skills.
It was wonderful to see the boys overcome some of their initial nerves and deliver some lovely speeches over the two days. Speeches covered a range of topics including the environment and the importance of relaxation!
The 6 wining students over the two day workshops will now battle it out in their year group assembly before a final two students will be chosen to represent the school in the borough regional final at The John Roan School on 2nd April.
