Welcome from Director of Sixth Form

Here at the Poly, high aspirations are the DNA of our school where each student is seen as an individual who can achieve outstanding academic success.

Our results speak for themselves. Our students are testament to the dedication and commitment they have in reaching and exceeding their goals. Our sixth form motto reads: “Tomorrow’s Leaders” and we believe that to lead our communities into the future, you will not only need to continue to work on academic success, but you will also need to become well-rounded young adults who recognise that education is for life, not solely for results.

Our sixth form students are shining examples of all the things that we value at the Poly: they embody great academic pursuit and success; they are also polite, prepared, productive and proactive in everything they do. Year on year, approximately 90% of our students go on to university, with 20% of our students (double the London average) securing places at Russell Group universities.

As students move through the sixth form and witness the challenges of entry into Higher Education, employment, training or gap years, they are assured of expert guidance from experienced, committed, talented subject staff and tutors. Our results and our students speak for themselves.

Be part of what the Poly is all about: challenge for all students, high academic standards, innovation in how we learn, a staff dedicated to learning, support and guidance in Study Skills, a wide range of subjects and courses giving maximum choice and an outstanding pastoral support and careers guidance. We have excellent relationships between students and staff - a warm and a welcoming community dedicated to learning.  Here at the Poly, we offer a high-class education.
