For our World Book Day challenge I asked students to type a summary of a book they had recently read. I received some fantastic summaries over the last week, I was amazed by the response.
Some stand out summaries were from:
Ahmad - Year 7 – From the DSP, produced a wonderful summary for Robin Hood and the Golden Arrow.
Dylan - 7B2 – Reviewed ‘Blizzard’ a fascinating adventure story based on survival. Though Dylan closes his summary with his view that the Harry Potter books are still his favourite, and they will take some beating!
Brandon - 7MO – Designed a magnificent World Book Day poster which included the titles of his favourite books. The poster will be put on display for all to see!
Amaru - 9AH - Wrote an interesting summary on the Secrets of WW2, Amaru is a history enthusiast, and he highly recommends this book.
Some other notable summaries I received were from:
Dennis 7KO
Dylan - 10II
Armadou – 10JD
